Recently refurbished, the studio provides a light, airy and beautifully furnished retreat only 3 minutes walk to the beach, local shops and restaurants.

Location in Collioure

Rue du Soleil is in the Faubourg area on the south side of Collioure’s harbour and only a short walk from the railway station and more tourist-oriented streets. We have our own beach, cafes, laundrette and shops – including newsagent, pharmacy and grocery. The stops for the one euro bus (which runs between Perpignan and Cerbere) are also only a couple of minutes walk away.

As the name suggests, Rue du Soleil is a lovely street which gets the sun all day. Many see it as the best street in Collioure. A bonus for unloading and loading is that it is accessible by car – although there is no long-term parking allowed in the road itself.

The studio

There is a double bed and small child’s bed in the bedroom area at the back of the studio; also a double sofa bed in the living area.

The kitchen in the middle of the studio contains an electric oven and hob, kettle, toaster, sink, dishwasher and all the crockery, glasses, cooking utensils etc. you would need for up to four eating in. I also provide grocery basics and a welcome pack to get you started.

There is a separate shower room with wetroom-style shower, basin, toilet and electric towel rail. Also supplied is a box of toiletries in case you forget any basics.

Quality cotton bed linen and towels are provided (including beach towels and beach mats). There is a laundrette close by for personal use.

 

 

Also available are free wi-fi; a selection of books and a folder of local information, electric fans for summer and heaters for winter – so everything you need for a perfect break.

The owner lives above so is on hand to welcome you, help you settle so you make the most of your stay. You can also conveniently load and unload outside – a rarity in Collioure – before parking longer-term if you are driving.
